Job Description
Come join the team as a Dealer Contractual Manager at General Motors!
Dealer Contractual Manager - Process dealer company changes within the guides of the the Dealer Sales and Service Agreement. Changes include: Asset Purchase Agreements, P3 changes, Executive Managers, Successors, Relocations etc. Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
- Preparation of Dealer contracts and program enrollments
- Completion of Dealer activation and updates of Dealer information in appropriate systems
- Timely processing of contractual changes
- Accurate maintenance of contractual dealer data residing in DNPS
- Processing and management of Dealer and GM Management requests
- By executing the procedural steps identified in the DCG Contractual Manager Check Sheets and Desk Procedure Manual as appropriate
- Drafting various custom correspondence for Management, Legal review in response to Dealer questions, and concerns regarding contractual/policy issue
- Drafting correspondence in regards to dealer change requests
- Ensure correspondence is completed in a professional manner
- Conducting financial analysis using an excel based financial reports
- Completing APR notice requirements as outlined in the GM Sales and Service Agreement
- Assisting Dealer candidates with the input of information needed for the completion of proposals
- Counseling Dealers and GM field personnel on policies and procedures
- Meeting with GM stakeholders and attorneys on Dealer proposals and current dealer network activities
- Requesting background checks for Dealer candidates
- Completing Dealer add points information worksheets with information and exhibits provided by DNPI
- Providing deposition or testimony regarding Dealer requests as required by Legal
- Provide consultation on correspondence templates
- Communicating internally and externally as vital to complete business activities
- Working with stakeholders to acquire complete support documentation vital to fulfill requests
- Providing assistance to both Dealers and GM personnel regarding the signing of contractual documents with electronic signatures
- Upload applicable documents into DMS
- Participating in process and efficiency improvement activities and maintaining the electronic dealer files accurately within DMS
- Annual review of DCG working files hosted in SharePoint to identify and remove certain working files to ensure accurate compliance with ILM policies and procedures per the direction of the Dealer Organization Managers
- Participate in required and organized ILM activities both specific and on going
- Analyzing, tracking, maintaining and providing information relating to the processing of Dealer requests for the purposes of quality control within DCIS
- Assist with Dealer Re-contracting activities
- General office work related to processing Dealer requests
- Sending and retrieving faxes, routine scanning, copying, etc.
- Generate and distribute program enrollment forms to program coordinators
- Set up program and dealer files
- Manage outgoing and incoming mail
Additional Job Description
- Strong digital literacy in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and in managing database information
- Effective analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Good oral and communications skills
- Highly motivated
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in teams
- Must have a bachelor's degree, Masters Degree Preferred.
