The Finance function performs a critical cross-functional role in driving GM's business success including improving company financial performance, managing cash to fund major vehicle programs, and reporting results and managing investor perceptions. The Finance IT Project Manager for Order To Delivery Solutions is responsible of the end to end delivery of the initiatives associated to the next generation of shopping, billing pricing and incientive tools that will enable a new purchasing experience for customers and dealers of GM Products, including Electric Vehicles (EVs).
The Finance function performs a critical cross-functional role in driving GM's business success including improving company financial performance, managing cash to fund major vehicle programs, and reporting results and managing investor perceptions. Global Finance IT provides innovative technology solutions to support these objectives. We deliver value at high speed through an intense Customer focus coupled with domain expertise and business savvy. We are innovative, dependable, reliable, and collaborative.
Additionally, you will work with development activities will include:
Responsible for ensuring that all business deliverables are identified and accounted for in the project plan with
responsibility and due dates
Continuously monitor and report on project status
Identify and Manage Scope, Time, Risk and Stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Manage the identification, documentation, and traceability of business requirements
Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership
Coordinate the input and approval of various project design and decision documents
Provide guidance and support during execution of change management activities
Developing tracking scorecards and metrics to illustrate status and ownership.
Developing milestone reviews for the key milestones and ensures the team is on track to deliver.
Track business resources and identify any shortages based on project plans
Align cross-functional business and technical teams to help ensure alignment of goals and to help resolve conflicting priorities.
Assist Workstream Leaders in managing multiple efforts simultaneously across a broad range of functions, business and organizational units
Monitor project progress and consolidate status reports
Additional Job Description
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Computer Science, MIS / CIS, or another STEM-related major preferred
PMP and Agile Certifications are preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience is required (5 - 10 years of experience as a Project Manager
Experience on Large Technology Implementation with multiple stakeholders
Experience handling multiple projects at a time
Hands on Experience on Business Analysis and Requirements Management.
Business Analysis certifications such as IIBA Certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP) or PMI Certifications such as (PMI PBA or PMI-ACP) are preferred
Business process experience including Order Management, Pricing, Incentives, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Asset Accounting
