    Position summary

    ce of Quality, Service, Technology, and Price strategies. This includes sound understanding of deadlines, required lead times, supplier contracts and application types.

    • Active participation with key stakeholders, including IT, the business Stakeholders, Legal, and Security.

    • Manage annual renewal cadence and deadlines.

    • Adhere to corporate purchasing and accounting policies and procedures.

    • Negotiate price, terms, and other items to complete full contract package.

    • Utilize GPSC Sourcing Process to manage Sourcing packages.

    • Utilize GPSC Sourcing Process (Request for Quotation, Analysis of Quotation, Source Selection) to establish a capable/competitive supply base.

    • Develop benchmarking for each sourcing package

    Additional Description

    Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

    • 5+ years of relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing or supply chain

    • Project Management Skills

    • Understanding of basic technology (Licensing and Legal) concepts

    • Capability to function independently

    • Proficient communication skills

    • High level knowledge (or ability to learn) about items being purchased

    • Analytical skills, including the ability to do in-depth benchmarking

    • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously, and

    • prioritize requests

    • Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work

    • effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals

    • Knowledge of computer software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet Research)

    • SAP experience or ability to learn purchasing systems

    • Minimum of 5% travel

    Preferred Skills and Abilities:

    • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Bachelor of

    • Arts/Science in a Business related field

    • High Level knowledge about IT/Technology (Software, SaaS, Emerging

    • Technologies)
