    Position summary

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in any field.

    • Ability to speak and write in Korean and English fluently.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience in digital marketing, sales, consulting, or business development.

    • Ability to succeed in a rapidly changing environment.

    • Ability to be an independent thinker.

    • Ability to take on strategic and challenging business problems.

    • Excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills.

    • Interest in the internet and in Google’s technology and business.

    About gReach Program: The gReach Student Program is a paid upskilling program for university student candidates with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects for 6 months in Summer of 2023.

    The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals. gReach Student Associates will be placed in teams across the business such as Advertising Sales, User Support, YouTube, Marketing, and Google Cloud Platform. Participants will have the opportunity to be exposed to career opportunities at Google and further sharpen their professional skills.

    gReach Associates will learn to make an impact by working with teams on business-critical projects and collaborating with Googlers across a variety of functions. We welcome aspiring individuals who are willing to grow as professionals through the learning experience at Google. To get familiar with Google’s tools, technology, and culture, you'll acquire fundamental and on-the-job training experience, and be assigned to a role. Depending on the organization and role, as a gReach Associate, you'll work on one large project, complete smaller projects, or do the day-to-day work to support the business.

    You'll contribute to the business, collaborate with others, and have the opportunity to add long-lasting value beyond the conclusion of their gReach program. You will closely work with a host manager and team members who will help identify project goals, while also inspiring, mentoring, and supporting the professional development of the gReach Program.

    Responsibilities

    • Job responsibilities and detailed projects will be determined based on your educational background, interests, skills, and will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects for 6 months in Summer of 2023. 

    • Learn and acquire skills on how to develop Google's proposition in the dynamic industry of advertising. 

    • Develop relationships with clients and partners, or identify opportunities and solutions to support their growth.
