Account Executive, Waze (Fixed-Term Contract)

This is a Fixed-Term Contract up to 9 months.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in advertising sales, providing media or mobile solutions to clients and agencies.

• Experience developing new business and/or account management within an online advertising agency and or clients.

• Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing "Drive to Store” key performance indicators with advertiser.
• Sales experience across a range of industry verticals, with an emphasis on QSR and Retail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.

As an Account Executive for Waze Ads, you will work in partnership with an Account Manager and other support teams to address some of Waze's largest advertisers marketing challenges and manage relationships directly. You will work with customers from business development industries for Waze, such as Travel, Entertainment, Auto and Finance, helping them reach their business goals.

Waze's sales team is the link that connects drivers with businesses both big and small. With millions of drivers using Waze, you have access to a platform that can aid businesses in reaching thousands of potential local customers on their mobile devices. We are looking for individuals who are familiar with the world of advertising and who are self starters, team players and ready to be part of a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate and grow advertising business across our mobile product line, develop and cultivate relationships with agency executives and customers, and manage all aspects of advertising campaigns.
• Use knowledge of Waze products to align them with the customer's marketing strategy and identify new business opportunities. Attend customer meetings to support the business pitch, the customer and market to deliver actionable insights.
• Work in close collaboration with the Account Manager to identify strategic business opportunities, based on quantitative and qualitative industry insights combined with Waze data.
• Prepare smart, integrated, research-based presentations and proposals, building new strategic approaches to our products and enhancing Google's reputation as a consultant and partner.
• Acquire and share deep knowledge of each industry/vertical (competitive landscape, products, consumer behavior trends, key business issues, etc.) in order to develop industry-wide recommendations on development opportunities.
