Business Intelligence Lead

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 3 years of experience managing, coaching, and developing a team.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Plx, Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI).

• Experience with SQL, database development, and query.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience managing Legal data or other sensitive datasets.
• Statistical knowledge (e.g., Pandas/Numpy, R, Stata, Matlab).
• Ability to adapt messaging to diverse audience and work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple challenging projects and apply initiative, creativity, and problem solving.
• Ability to synthesize information to see the big picture while effectively managing smaller details.
• Ability to use data to inform recommendations and influence stakeholders.

About the job

In this role, you will manage the crafting of scalable solutions for automating reports, dashboards, and business insights so users can quickly and accurately know how key operations and processes are performing. You will work with the Leadership team in understanding their evolving requirements and deliver practical and innovative data solutions that will benefit the organization. You will own the single-source-of-truth for resource allocation to support the strategic priorities of Global Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, build, and nurture a team culture where people can thrive.
• Set and communicate team priorities and ensure the appropriate metrics and people are in place to support the broader organization’s goals.
• Set stakeholders up for success by serving as consultative experts on data-related topics and scenarios. Build reports, dashboards, models, and tools to analyze stakeholder data that translates into actionable insights.
• Develop and enhance datasets, data pipelines, queries and other data.
• Partner with Engineering and other technical teams who maintain upstream data resources to ensure the broader organization’s needs are met.
