Business Systems Analyst, Core Real Estate Systems

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 7 years of experience implementing enterprise systems within any function (e.g., Real Estate, People Operations, Finance, etc.).

• Experience with Agile Project Management, Agile Software Development, and Enterprise Applications.

Preferred qualifications:

• 7 years of experience with software engineering development lifecycle experience (e.g., Agile, Developer Operations, etc.).
• 7 years of experience implementing large, complex enterprise systems within Real Estate.
• Experience with build versus buy analysis.
• Experience with third-party systems (e.g., Manhattan, Archibus, FM Systems).

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. With your technical expertise, you build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You also define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution.

The Core Real Estate Systems' mission is to help form the organization's Real Estate strategy by delivering an enterprise class, scalable, and extensible technology platform.

As a Business System Analyst, you will model space supply to support the impending pace of the company’s growth, evolve the technology landscape, and improve and/or rebuild the platform for growth and scalability. You will also build additional modules to complete the entire Real Estate Workspace (REWS) ecosystem (e.g., Capital Projects Management, Operations, and Maintenance etc.) and collaborate with other teams to build tools that help improve decision-making and efficiencies across the value chain. The customer base includes stakeholders across multiple Google Advisory Functions (GAFs), REWS, and Finance that involves working with a complex technology landscape.

Responsibilities

• Partner with REWS, Finance, and Engineering organizations to develop product roadmap to identify opportunities, articulate business value, and define project landings.
• Define scope, gather business requirements, and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Drive product lifecycle across all project phases (e.g., design, test, deployment, etc.), collaborate with cross-functional teams across a highly matrixed organization.
• Gain in-depth understanding of REWS business processes and program technology landscape to thoughtfully drive product planning and increase the program’s impact to the organization.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to drive build versus buy assessments.
