Business Systems Analyst, Data Privacy

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• 9 years of experience designing first-party solutions, integrations, data modeling, and data analysis.

• 7 years of experience in system implementation projects.

• 6 years of experience in data retention, data privacy, and data security.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience designing for the integration of third-party systems with first-party systems.
• Experience in data architecture and solutions using third-party systems/tools (e.g., Pentaho Kettle, SQL, Informatica, etc.).
• Understanding of compliance, regulators, and legal data needs related to privacy and data security.

We partner with People Operations (POps) to build first-party products and implement third-party solutions that help drive people’s success.

In this role, you will partner with Legal, Engineering, and People Operations stakeholders to inform our direction and roadmap. We support job architecture, learning and development, global onboarding, POps product security and privacy, and more. In this role, you will focus on protecting data privacy and security of Google applicants, candidates, and employees.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $124,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities

• Partner with compliance, legal, and privacy stakeholders to understand their guidelines and processes and amend our retention and deletion service requirements as needed.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams across products to ensure they understand the requirements, review their designs to ensure they meet the objectives, and consult on deployment plans.
• Lead internal systems implementation projects end-to-end (requirements documentation, systems design, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution).
• Work with cross-functional product teams to ensure successful completion of projects.
