Position summary

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in physical design flows and methodologies, with focus on STA (timing analysis)

  • Experience in scripting languages (https://e.g., Perl, TCL, Shell, or Python).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in physical design flows and methodologies in addition to STA, such as power, EMIR, DRC/LVS/PERC, timing eco, APR, floorplan, or powerplan.

  • Experience in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) or IP vendors management/engagement.

  • Experience with design or flow in advanced nodes (https://i.e., N5, N4, N3).

  • Experience in QoR metrics, design trends analysis, or creating dashboards/reports.

As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world's largest and most powerful computing infrastructure.   • Work with the teams to develop new flows, tools, and features.
  • Support execution of the tools and flows currently used in the design process.
  • Develop design methodologies and automation scripts, and write documentation and/or deliver training.
  • Perform technical evaluations of vendors, process nodes and IP, and provide recommendations.
  • Develop continuous integration and continuous delivery regression system to ensure flow delivery quality.
