Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience translating enterprise client needs into cloud architectures and setting goals, strategies, and roadmaps.
Experience with networking (e.g., Linux), software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration, load balancing, DNS, virtual private servers and their application in PaaS and IaaS technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
As a Customer Engineer, you will help customers and assist Sales team members by problem-solving technical issues. You will liaise with various teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products. You will also engage with customers to understand their requirements and persuasively present solutions on Google Cloud.
In this role, you will work directly with Technical Sales teams as a networking subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers. You will also help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud by explaining technical features, helping customers design architectures, and problem-solving any potential roadblocks.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum salary range between $134,000 - $144,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.
