Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in Java development and other languages (https://e.g., JavaScript, Python, https://Node.js, etc.).
Experience in web services related standards (https://e.g., HTTP, REST, SOAP, OAuth).
Ability to speak and write in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently to engage and support Bahasa Indonesia-speaking customers to navigate industry standards.
Experience in technical customer engineering in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role (including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team).
Experience in architecture and developing software for scalable, distributed systems.
Knowledge of middle-ware and cloud technologies like NoSQL datastores, Google Cloud, and Mobile app development.
Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence key decision makers around deployment topologies, scaling, performance, and sizing.

As a Customer Engineer, you will help shape and execute technical business strategies, act as a trusted advisor to our clients and help them to realize maximum business value from Google Cloud. You will assist the Sales team by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers, while also liaising with the product marketing management and Engineering teams to stay up-to-date on industry trends and to devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.

Develop a strong working relationship with the customer’s technical staff and be able to gain their trust and credibility through your technical knowledge and subject matter expertise.
Work closely with the Account Executive to align with the technical requirements and the solution design with the customer's business drivers and demonstrate our unique value.
Develop presentations and demos with a clear plan to take a prospect successfully through the evaluation process.
Educate and advocate for Google and our products when presenting to Bahasa-speaking clients and partners on new products, campaign results, and performance.
Translate technical concepts to non-technical and executive Bahasa-speaking audiences.
