Position summary

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing a technical team in a cloud computing environment, or a similar customer-facing role.

  • Experience in front-end technologies (https://e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript).

  • Experience with modern frameworks (https://e.g., Flutter, React, Angular, or https://Vue.js).

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and implementation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and deploying applications using cloud services.

  • Familiarity with machine learning programming frameworks (https://e.g., LangChain, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and TensorFlow) and with prompt tuning.

  • Ability to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver software solutions to meet business needs.

  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

As a Customer Engineering Manager, you will lead our Solutions Factory team focused on building solutions, demonstrations, and prototypes using Google Cloud Services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope for building prototypes and demonstrations using managed text, chat, and image models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Lead and mentor a team of pre-sales engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.

  • Collaborate closely with principal architects, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to define project timelines, deliver high-quality software solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Google Cloud Services and related technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities.
