Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a technical/quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
14 years of experience in designing/deploying data and analytics solutions.
3 years of experience in people management and leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience as an engineer in the data and analytics and/or business systems space.
Experience in one or more of the following: Finance, Big Data Analytics and Data Science, Process Mining, and/or Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Experience delivering business insights and solutions through statistical modeling and machine learning, including experience in data visualization tools or platforms (e.g., Looker, etc.).
Experience with implementing Salesforce, SAP, or other large ERP systems and applications (on premise and cloud based).
Experience using Agile methods and practices through multiple teams (Scrum and Kanban).
Entrepreneurial approach and ability to identify business opportunities.
The Procurement team is a centralized team which is tasked with building procurement scale and efficiency while maintaining the independence and nimbleness of Google’s product team.
Our goal is to unlock value for Google to reinvest in what matters most. In this role, you will work within the Center of Excellence (CoE) team within the Google Procurement Organization (GPO). You will be responsible for enabling and ensuring a consistent approach across the entire Procurement organization through deep data insights, and agile simple processes and technology. You will own and lead multiple high impact data products in a fast growing team.
