Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, communicating with executive stakeholders, driving IT programs as part of a cloud Professional Services organization, or comparable IT consulting organization.

• Ability to speak and write English and fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or Master's degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.
• 5 years of experience working in a customer-facing in the Public Sector.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-parties to deliver and manage implementation of high-impact solutions.
• Experience in value consulting, proposal development, and execution with public cloud providers.
• Knowledge in three or more of the following: IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, application development, service architecture, cloud-native application development, hosted services, storage systems, and cyber security.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Our Professional Services Organization (PSO) in Google Cloud delivers product, strategy, and implementation expertise to our strategic customers to help them get the most out of their Google Cloud investments. As an Engagement Manager (EM), you will help customers successfully adopt Google Cloud products and drive success for customers. You will lead the development of Professional Services engagements with customers to help drive the successful adoption of Google Cloud, and implement solutions that solve challenges for our Public Sector customers and the people they serve. You will regularly engage with stakeholder groups, including executives of large Public Sector customers and a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team within Google to help gather requirements, scope engagements, plan and deliver service offerings to accelerate the cloud adoption journey.

Additional Information

(Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $139,000 - $150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation range for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the development of the implementation strategy for Google Cloud Platform customers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Engineering to capture customer requirements and develop a services strategy for individual accounts, and act as the point of contact for services sales in concert with the sales team.
• Collaborate with our Professional Services Organization.
• Consult to determine project goals, define success criteria, and create Statements of Work (SOWs) for customer related projects.
• Coordinate with Professional Services Organization consultants and other stakeholders to develop staffing, project plans, and schedules, including working with external Google Cloud Platform delivery partners.
