    Position summary

    neering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

    Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

    As the Global Network OSS and Data Communications Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the secure management and delivery of the Network Operations Support System necessary to facilitate the safe, secure management of the Google Submarine Network organization. You will manage the lifecycle and performance of related software systems and platforms, relatable network services and security protocols, and support complex network environments.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of network operations and data communications engineers, work closely with stakeholders to develop a long-term systems operating framework, in addition to the lifecycle management of the hardware and software elements, the systems, protocols, and maintaining its functional capabilities.
    • Provide operational requirements to development team feedback loop, provide input to enhanced practical implementations/use cases of the API capability development, access authentication and overall operational support framework (OSS) functions and features.
    • Work with technology suppliers, security, risk and compliance teams to ensure Google maintains and highlights levels of relevance in respect to Operating Systems and Network.
    • Manage and monitor network security, develop and manage access controls protocols and procedures.Comply with industry regulations and standards for secure networking.
