Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• 15 years of experience in technical consulting and/or project/program management in corporate cloud, professional IT services on cloud, or cloud product development

• Experience programming in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Go, C++, or similar programming languages

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in leading cloud implementations, cloud support, deployments, and/or business development activities
• Experience with software development (e.g., Java, Go, JavaScript, Python, etc.), building/architecting developer operation pipelines, and associated tools
• Experience with detailed network security and system design of load balancers, firewalls, and VPN in the deployment of virtual machines and containerized applications
• Experience with implementing large-scale cloud or software projects in corporate environments
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, and influencing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

The Google Cloud Customer Success team is responsible for effectively introducing Google’s clients to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and to Google Workspace, and assisting them from inception to production. We solve challenging and complex technical problems; from infrastructure migration, to network optimization, to security best practices, and much more.

As an Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of consultants, architects, and engineers. Your team will directly engage with customers for on-boarding to GCP, landing zone setup, and first workload migration ensuring a frictionless start for the customer as their journey begins with Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of cloud consultants, cloud architects, and cloud engineers.
• Work with customers to identify opportunities to apply cloud infrastructure transformations in their business. Manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud solutions becoming a trusted advisor to decision-makers throughout the engagement.
• Design and implement solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud native application development solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practices.
• Interact with Sales teams, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
