    Position summary

You will be conducting and leading others in security analysis, threat hunting, as well as malware and indicator analysis. You will be responsible for handling all malicious activity on Google's networks. You will perform deep analysis of threats on enterprise, production, and cloud environments.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify security issues, implement and design security controls, tools, and services to improve security systems and processes.

    • Analyze security alerts inSecurity information and event management(SIEM) and other external alert sources.

    • Search for anomalous activity via manual hunting.

    • Escalate complex/unusual incidents to Detection and Response teams. Lead response efforts to low severity incidents.
