Minimum qualifications:
3 years of experience with XML/HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Python (with test-driven development) or R, and SQL.
Experience in machine learning, ontology design, and/or crowdsourcing of data.
Experience working with linguists and engineering colleagues to improve tools and processes.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a human research-oriented field (e.g., Linguistics, Cognitive Science, Social Science).
Knowledgeable about policy issues online (e.g., clickbait, sensationalist claims) and taxonomic classification (e.g., products and services).
Ability to operate in a high-paced, changing work environment, prioritize multiple functions and tasks, manage time efficiently, and navigate ambiguity.
As a Linguist, you will find brand-unsafe and other unwanted content in the advertiser network using machine learning and other techniques.You will work closely with Software Engineering (SWE) teams to classify ad creatives, landing pages, and other content into sensitive categories for Publisher Control Exclusions.
Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum Salary of $109,000 - $117,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
