    Position summary

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

    • 7 years of experience in consulting, analytics, and data science.

    • 3 years of experience in manipulating data sets and reporting using SQL.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience in driving a project from an experimental idea to a proof-of-concept to a launched service and supporting the idea and execution through data analysis and performance measurement.

    • Experience with executive stakeholder management.

    • Experience in analyzing large/complex data sets (e.g. SQL).

    • Ability to handle multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously.

    • Ability to formulate hypotheses, design tests, and use problem-solving techniques to drive to solutions for complex problems.

    • Excellent executive level communication skills in all formats.

    The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

    The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and own the A/B testing of the pilot results including sample size analysis, methodology, data pulls, and statistical analysis.
    • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end initiative measurement metrics.
    • Support the projects, pilots, and exploratory strategic ideas with quick data analyses and performance reporting.
    • Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts across gTech Go-To-Market (GTM) and gTech to design and build robust measurement solutions.
    • Enable critical business decisions working with cross-functional stakeholders and cross-pollinate learning.
