Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience working in the media industry or similar content-driven industry.
Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese.

As The News Lab Lead, you’ll run an outreach effort to empower technology-driven storytelling in newsrooms, with a focus on efforts to strengthen quality journalism across the web and a partnership-focused approach to creating projects that foster unique innovations in newsrooms and startups. You’ll start conversations that support local journalism, fact-checking, diversity, equity, and inclusion across the ecosystem. Working with product teams, you’ll share insights from the journalism community to help improve our tools.
