Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative/business field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5 years of experience in a management consulting, corporate strategy role, in investment bank or internet/media industries

• Experience working cross-functionally on cross-product initiatives

• Experience advising executive leaders on strategy, organization, and business operations

Preferred qualifications:

• 7 years of relevant experience in partnerships
• Knowledge of Google’s products and the industries they operate within
• Familiarity with the gaming industry, including key players and market dynamics
• Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against concrete business goals
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple internal and partner-facing workstreams at the same time while escalating and clearly presenting distilled strategic issues to leadership as needed
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide insightful, data-driven strategic recommendations to diverse stakeholders

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Stadia is Google's platform for playing games on all the devices you already own. We work to make our infrastructure and tools available to partners who want to build their own interactive streaming platforms.

The Partner Strategy team focuses on solving some of the most complex and challenging questions facing Stadia’s partners and business. The team owns a broad plan encompassing long-term strategy, partner analytics, agreement forecasting and modeling, agreement process and management, and supporting our strategic partner discussions and relationships.

In this role, you will play a key role to grow Google’s capacity to serve its partners, driving business growth and improving the partner experience. You will also lead high profile projects to answer tough questions.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and own solutions (e.g., Salesforce process, Direct-to-Consumer, and Go-To-Market strategies) to drive business growth and optimize our partner lifecycle, including business, implementation, and ongoing program management.
• Lead projects to gather, analyze, and distill research about our markets, users, partners, and products. Develop and present comprehensive, data-backed recommendations to diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership and partners.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with a broad range of constituents, particularly in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Legal, as well as cross-Google stakeholders and with external partners executives.
• Navigate cross-functional complexity to quickly and effectively bring open issues to resolution and identify new business and growth opportunities.
• Understand industry trends and market insights to influence partnership strategy.
