    Position summary

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

    • 2 years of experience in engineering testing or validation.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience with consumer product or phone development.

    • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Qualcomm chipsets, testing automation, RF debugging, power optimization.

    • Experience with Android testing.

    In this role, you will lead system-level integration testing, drive product power and performance validation in close collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams. You will create and execute hardware test plans.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $77,000-$110,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    • Work with the Engineering Development team on system bring up, design validation, and power and performance measurements.
    • Support the team in troubleshooting, debugging, and failure analysis investigations.
    • Create test solutions to manage issues in system, hardware, and power validation.
