Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in an agency, consultancy, or corporate environment, and serving as the primary communications counsellor to clients.

  • Experience in setting and managing expectations with executive stakeholders and team members, prioritizing, executing, and pivoting to other tasks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience at an agency, consultancy, or corporate environment, and serving as the primary communications counsellor to clients.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.

  • Ability to guide clients through complex crisis events with potentially significant business impacts.

  • Ability to present written or verbal information to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to be driven, proactive, hardworking, creative, and a team-player.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reactive crisis communications support for Mandiant clients responding to a cybersecurity incident, walking alongside technical teams to help clients’ leadership teams evaluate the business risk of communications decisions as incidents unfold. Lead all incident response communications activities across clients’ internal and external audiences.
  • Guide clients through the development of proactive cyber crisis communications plans using established best practices customized for individual organizations, and capturing the process via the development of crisis communications playbooks.
  • Develop and execute tabletop exercises to evaluate communications response capabilities and participate as a communications subject matter expert as part of team-based executive tabletops.
  • Support Mandiant services business opportunities across a diverse set of Google clients and prospects.
  • Participate in the development, production, and marketing of thought leadership surrounding emerging crisis communications trends and issues.
