Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in consumer product marketing or technology policy.
Preferred qualifications:
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
In this role, you will be responsible for sharing Google Play’s products, economic impact, and community contributions with the US and global policymakers, creating an ongoing drumbeat of affirmative activities that showcase the best of Google. You will help to create narratives that explain our position on a range of issues, presenting your ideas with data and insights. You will work with an executive cross-functional team to build a unified strategy that increases strategic engagement with policymakers and key groups around the world. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to craft messaging and develop programs that engage key ally groups, consumers, and key opinion formers alike. You’re a great communicator who is at ease telling stories across a variety of mediums (e.g., video, blog posts, social, presentations, etc.) and are excited about working at the intersection of technology and policy. You are able to work on multiple priorities and can thrive in ambiguity and put an emphasis on tracking progress against defined goals.
