Program Manager, Email Operations

Minimum qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in program management.

• 5 years of experience with emailing market and digital content management.

• Experience with email production working with an email service provider.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working closely with multiple business functions to shape strategic agendas and operationalize initiatives.
• Ability to drive insights and decisions leveraging multiple inputs and data sources.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and to own and manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic business landscape.
• Outstanding program management skills including workflow management and optimization, cross-functional coordination, and communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking, business curiosity, and relationship-building skills.

The Google Store is Google’s first-party, global e-commerce destination for hardware designed and made by Google (e.g., Pixel phones, Google Nest, FitBit, and others).

In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Support, Program Management, and Payment teams to drive our consumer hardware e-commerce business. Our mission is to be the destination for bringing the helpfulness of Google to life. You will support this by being operationally focused to streamline and optimize existing processes while also identifying and driving continuous improvement projects and programs to enhance the Google store’s operational maturity.

You are an experienced Email Operations and Production leader who will oversee the day-to-day operations of Customer Responsibility Matrix (CRM) production while at the same time, building the foundation to scale our operations and enable rapid growth. In this role, you will impact the strategy and execution for the Google Store and all Devices and Services Business Area CRM. You will understand the technical aspects of CRM and are technically capable with a bias for action and focus on driving process and efficiency.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $169,000 - $181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize email campaign requests and campaign assets to meet deadlines and notify appropriate stakeholders as necessary, and ensure execution.
• Review email requests and confirm conformity to guidelines and best practices including executional efficiency.
• Collaborate and steer internal teams, specifically Marketing, Engineering, Program Management, and vendor operations to ensure email campaigns, which are often highly complex, are designed and executed flawlessly to meet business goals.
• Design all processes for intake, planning, execution, and management of email campaigns to improve quality and increase efficiency.
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset to our operations to ensure we're ready to scale.
