Program Manager, Privacy Regulatory Compliance

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

• Experience working with global privacy laws, regulations, and binding privacy commitments

• Experience with large-scale privacy challenges, requirements, policies, standards, and implementation strategies

Preferred qualifications:

• Certification from International Association of Privacy Professionals (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT)
• Certified Data Privacy Professional (CDPP)

About the job

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and it will be your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will drive and execute risk and compliance projects that impact multiple product areas. You will work closely with product area stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will ensure and improve current processes and designs to facilitate increased efficiency and execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage regulatory compliance programs and be responsible for defining milestones, resource allocation, and successful on-time delivery.
• Create and drive entity level program and coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders from multiple product areas.
• Communicate program timelines, priorities, risks, and mitigation plans and report status to all levels in the company.
• Responsible for project standards, processes, and methodology and creating a repeatable project delivery process.
• Organize, collect, and analyze relevant project data and manage project work reliably. Drive continuous learning and improvement to deliver scale and efficiency.
