Program Manager, Warehouse Management Systems Implementation

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Logistics, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in scripting, such as Mosaic.

• Experience as a Warehouse Management System Super User working on design and configuration.

• Experience as a Blue Yonder/JDA Warehouse Management Systems Business Consultant, Solution Architect, and/or Implementation Lead.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with technical code reviews on JDA/BY WMS.
• Experience with MOCA development as well as tracing/debugging issues.
• Experience soliciting and organizing customer requirements, tracking the status of project deliverables, and managing related additional documents.
• Proficiency in MOCA (e.g. SQL/Groovy), JDA databases, and/or reporting/labelling tools (e.g. Jasper, RP Writer, Nice Label).
• Ability to appropriately prioritize based on levels of importance and drive timely resolution of changes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and partner with coworkers across all levels.

The Google Logistics team relies on sound process design, system-driven workflows, continuous improvement, and performance management for all aspects of its operations. As a Program Manager, you will support a warehouse network within a defined region by providing Warehouse Management System (WMS) application support and business logic for system configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement in support of leadership’s goals and objectives. You will coordinate the application development of WMS and associated working methods in order to fulfill business needs and user satisfaction. You will ensure WMS and associated IT equipment is available, well-configured, and maintained. You will also implement system enhancements to increase efficiency, decrease operational costs, increase quality, and smooth out operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an operational representative to global logistics’ Center-of-Excellence (COE) group; share lessons learned, process improvement ideas, perform network implication evaluation, and manage general communication between COE/global operations and assigned sites and stakeholders.
• Implement system enhancements, write and release commands/code of medium complexity to enhance the WMS application to meet business requirements.
• Manage, and execute project(s) of varying complexity and size on the JDA/BY WMS system; partner with business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion.
• Manage/Lead implementations on JDA/BY WMS and provide techno functional subject matter expertise on JDA/BY WMS to operational business partners.
• Maintain and manage relationships with multiple vendors (third-party logistics) and/or implementation partners as part of a project team.
