Security Architect, Infrastructure, Google Cloud

Note: Google’s hybrid workplace includes remote roles.

Remote location: Qatar.

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience implementing security controls and risk-reduction strategies in support of both cloud and hybrid architectures.

• Experience in Information security and engineering, focused with cloud-based infrastructure environments.

• Experience orchestrating Identity management best practices including identifying, managing, and securing privileged identities.

• Experience providing IR Lifecycle recommendations for containment, remediation and eradication of cloud environments TA's.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience advising customers on cloud architecture and design concepts based on compliance and regulatory standards (https://e.g., PII, PCI-DSS, PHI, GDPR, HIPAA).

• Experience with Incident Response within cloud environments and applications.

• Understanding and implementing of industry-leading practices around cyber risks and Cloud security for clients’ cloud security frameworks using industry standards such as CIS Benchmarks, Cloud Security Alliance, and NIST.

• Understanding of a programming or scripting language and API interactions with cloud platforms.

• Understanding and conveying governance principles to cloud computing in terms of policies.

• Ability to communicate in Arabic and English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with industry best practice and insight regarding cloud application architecture and deployment in cloud environments.

• Lead multiple projects under tight deadlines, and possess in-depth experience in security event monitoring, cyber threat intelligence, and/or computer incident response.
