Senior Finance Manager, Pixel

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

• 14 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function

• Experience in team building and development

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or equivalent Master's degree
• Experience presenting to management
• Knowledge of financial acumen and mastery of finance concepts (e.g., NPV, ROI, LTV, etc.)
• Ability to use business judgment, conviction, and confidence to communicate and influence business partners
• Organized, strategically focused, and detail-oriented skills
• Exceptional communication skills

You are both a manager and a mentor, providing financial leadership and analytical support to partners of the core Finance team as well as giving your own team the support they need to become financial experts. You'll keep management informed on key financial metrics and work to improve financial operation practices throughout your region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of Google’s fastest growing businesses, Devices! As a Senior Finance Manager, you will partner with various key stakeholders of the Google Pixel business across Product, Engineering, and Operations to establish critical financial infrastructure, evaluate investment options, and make business decisions. You will drive long-range financial planning and investment thesis for the Google Pixel business, while also influencing the product roadmap through financial insights and analysis. You will work across Google business areas and finance teams, while contributing in a high-energy, high-growth environment.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

• Act as main financial partner to the Google Pixel Product teams, and influence decision-making through analytical insight into core decisions on product development and financial trajectory.
• Create analytics around long-term investment thesis of the Google Pixel business, and its impact to Google’s overall business through understanding of search and other core Google businesses.
• Partner with the cross-functional teams to understand industry, product, and business related trends, own the long-term financial plan, and Net Present Value (NPV) analysis for the Google Pixel business, drive, and refine customer lifetime value analysis of Pixel users to Google.
• Inform the Economics and Risk Management of cross product area deals, partnerships, and long-term investments.
• Communicate risks to Product and Finance management teams, by proposing solutions and secure executive buy-in to resolve process, systems, and people gaps.
