Senior Hardware Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of industrial experience in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience

• Experience with laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers

• Experience working with EDA software for schematic design supervise layout (e.g., Cadence Concept/Allegro, Altium)

• Experience in analog signal processing and optical sensors

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in embedded systems and optical sensing systems
• Experience working with cross-functional teams on system integration
• Experience in designing PCB or chip level analog circuits such as heterodyne receivers, demodulators, and amplifiers
• Ability to program in Python or similar signal data analysis tools

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the hardware development of next-generation on-device sensing technologies, for empowering users to improve health and reduce the impact of chronic disease. As a key member of an extraordinarily creative, motivated, and talented interdisciplinary team you will look into challenging Electrical Engineering areas, co-inventing, and developing products.

ATAP is a fast-paced, solution-oriented group developing and executing projects at the point where emerging science/technology trends meet consumer needs, products and services. Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validate custom hardware, including PCB schematic capture and managing layout of both digital and analog circuits.
• Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Mechnical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Firmware) to deliver a complete electronic system.
• Manage solution scope, evaluate feasibility, and estimate schedules.
• Assist on administering external vendors on manufacturing PCB, PCBA, and other components.
