The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risk, create analysis/simulation/validation plan, brainstorm and propose solutions to problems based on analysis data, iterate through the entire product development cycle to optimize the design to achieve product performance objectives.
Own and drive analysis of cutting edge designs, enabling early optimization prior to prototyping and root cause and failure analysis of complex mechanical problems.
Generate FEA/analytical models of mechanical parts, modules, and assemblies. Use static, dynamic, structural and thermal-mechanical analysis and create and develop methods to predict field failure models.
Build simulation models by using thorough verification, calibration, and validation techniques and best practices leading to high-quality results.
Drive the exploration, validation and integration of new technologies, materials, analysis methods and tools to advance and expand team capabilities.
