Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Native Databases

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.

• 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.

• 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a software architect or engineering leader on cloud technologies, with ability to design, code, and build scalable solutions.
• Experience with distributed systems, big-data, and databases.

Additional Information (Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $152,000 - $163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation range for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical engagements with key customers and/ or partners to deliver or manage quality technical solutions and services. 
• Establish repeatable motions and best practices to improve efficiency of customer projects. Build technical resources such as tutorials, white-papers, sample code, and tools, to address customer needs. 
• Help strengthen customer/partner relationships through consultation and engagement, and identify new opportunities for our services in close collaboration with sales.
• Contribute to shaping the vision and roadmap for the products based on customer feedback. Develop and deliver technical training programs to field teams.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to preview new features and tools with customers and collate feedback to further refine our products.
