Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms
5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture

We're an applied research team with a mission to improve health and well-being with on-device intelligence, while safeguarding privacy. We collaborate with other Google Research groups and work closely with product teams to deploy research and prioritize privacy-preserving ML techniques such as federated learning, and uphold Google’s AI principles, including proactively addressing potential issues of ML fairness and bias.
Our work applies a broad range of ML techniques and research areas, including supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and federated learning, among others.
Google Research is building the next generation of intelligent systems for all Google products. To achieve this, we’re working on projects that utilize the latest computer science techniques developed by skilled software engineers and research scientists.
