Strategic Agency Manager, Google Customer Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in sales or marketing at an agency, technology, or media company, managing executive relationships.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on both performance and brand marketing.
• Experience strategically assessing and achieving agency success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling and competitive selling.
• Experience in agency business development/agency relationship in Emerging Markets.
• Knowledge of traditional versus online marketing strategy and tactics.
• Knowledge of agency business models (e.g., digital and traditional) customer retention, growth, and business acquisition for agencies.
• Ability to own a portfolio in a sales context, and consistently overachieve goals and business objectives to drive growth.

The Agency Partnership team drives customer success by partnering with a range of traditional media agencies in MENA. Strategic Agency Managers are sellers who leverage their executive influencing skills to partner with traditional media agencies and increase the value that Google media brings to their agency business and their customers' businesses to drive business growth and product adoption for Google. Agency managers prioritize stakeholder relationships and collaborate with a portfolio of agencies to discover, develop, and execute business growth strategies. You will focus on influencing budget allocation to increase digital capabilities and strengthening long-term commercial growth partnerships within our agencies. You will drive alignment on the allocation of the strategic resources for these agencies, to fuel your growth enablement initiatives, collaborating with client strategists and product specialists to deliver mutual revenue growth to our agencies, their customers, and to Google. You‘ll also develop the acquisition and upsell capabilities of your assigned agencies to enable sustainable business growth for all parties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver against ambitious business and product objectives by providing strategic advice to drive Agency growth and working with Large Customer Sales (LCS) to represent the GCS portfolio in traditional media agencies.
• Own a portfolio of agencies by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
• Work towards strategic goals on new and existing businesses consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding business experiences to Google's agency partners and collaborating with LCS.
• Manage and strengthen primary agency relationships at all levels, including Media Planners and Buyers.
• Be a thought partner for the Agency Lead on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning.
