The Pixel Device Core Software team is responsible for the core software running on Pixel Phones. The team comprises the software subsystems such as core bring-up, performance, power, graphics, display, sensors and more. The team works with the hardware teams to bring up new silicon and phones, and are key to shipping Pixel products.
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Factory Software Program, you will be a crucial player in ensuring the software quality for manufacturing of Pixel phones. You will collaborate with software, hardware engineering, and factory operation teams to optimize and scale factory operations, driving efficiency, and excellence.

Responsibilities
Work with Software Engineering teams across multiple Google Campuses to plan for the device bring-up, resolve Factory Software and manufacturing issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Hardware Engineering, Quality, Test, Operation teams and contract manufacturers to implement new technologies, enhance Factory Software quality and test processes, reduce test-cycle time and increase yield rate.
Travel to external contract manufacturers for a timely management during the critical hardware builds.
Collate and represent overall Factory Software status with leadership, escalate issues as necessary and recommend a way forward, and manage communication of progress and status within the core team and externally (e.g., customers, partners, etc.).
