    Position summary

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

    This role requires an understanding of data center infrastructure, technical project management, with a controls engineering background. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of critical systems within third-party data centers, responding to incidents, leading improvement projects, and contributing to operational excellence.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead technical projects, such as those involving Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). This includes developing project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, as well as managing project execution to ensure timely delivery and quality.
    • Respond to and resolve incidents related to critical infrastructure, including BMS and EPMS systems. This may involve troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors, and implementing preventative measures.
    • Collect and analyze operational data, including incident reports and system performance metrics, to identify trends and drive process improvements. Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-backed recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
