Technical Solutions Consultant, Android and Business Communication

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in Software Engineering, Product Management, Technical Account Management, or a related field.

• Experience with a programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, C#, Python, SQL etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Rich Communication Services (RCS), IP Messaging, SIP, VoiP and other communication protocols.
• Experience engaging directly with prospects in architecture discussions and best practices.
• Experience working with mobile carriers and/or original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and mobile technology solutions/applications, including Android.
• Knowledge of carrier network architecture and IMS (e.g., RCS).
• Ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences and represent the capabilities and services of RCS.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will work with customers to problem-solve technical issues to show how our products can help make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative. You will work closely with mobile carriers to launch innovative Communications products for users worldwide. You will also interact with partner executive stakeholders and Google Product teams, gain experience in carrier networks and RCS, and increase your understanding of how hardware, software, carriers, and industry standards come together to create our modern mobile ecosystem.

In this role, you will be the technical contact to support the business development engagement process from initial exploratory discussions and technical evaluation to integration. In addition, you will drive technical projects and programs, both internally and externally, including measuring, tracking, and reviewing key metrics with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $122,000 - $131,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Engage cross-functionally with our key partners’ organizations while acting as the primary technical point of contact to and from our partners.
• Drive technical aspects of partnerships, including launches, resolving technical issues, special projects, workshops, etc.
• Develop tools and processes to deploy faster and at scale across the partner landscape.
• Unlock growth by understanding how partners can better leverage Google products and services by being and advocate for partners to cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with the Business Development team to develop and own technical specifications for service launch and detailed project plans while driving this plan with partners and multiple internal stakeholders.
