Technical Solutions Engineer, Platforms, Google Cloud (English, Hebrew)

An additional background check for clearance to work with Government clients, and/or agreement to apply for an Israeli security clearance will be required for this role.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience troubleshooting customer issues and reading/writing codes.

• Ability to work non-standard hours, including on-call rotations, evening/overnight, weekends, and holidays when needed.

• Ability to speak and write in English and Hebrew fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with SQL database administration, Google Application Engine, open source software communities, cloud networking solutions, or distributed computing technology.
• Experience using core data structures and concepts.
• Experience with cloud-based serverless storage and developer tools technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting database issues, schema design, and SQL query profiling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills within a fast-paced setting.

As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will own customer challenges and provide support to other teams. You will be a part of a global team that provides support to help customers seamlessly make the switch to Google Cloud.

In this role, you will troubleshoot technical problems for customers with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and when needed coding/scripting. You will make our products easier to adopt and use by making improvements to the product, tools, processes, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to resolve customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
• Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in Engineering, Sales, and Customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
• Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams to find ways to improve the product, and manage high-quality production.
