Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or online publishing.
Preferred qualifications:
Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. Regardless of the content medium, technical writers are distinguished by their abilities to explain complex topics in a way that’s useful to their audience.
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for working with Google Assistant Infrastructure engineering, technical program management, and product management team members to lead and develop documentation for technical features and processes. You'll also provide review and support for content developed by engineering stakeholders and manage internal bug reports. You'll have opportunities to collaborate with other technical writers within Google Assistant and across Google.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead Assistant Infrastructure documentation efforts and gain exposure to a broad range of teams and technologies.Our mission is to enable Google Assistant developers to understand, develop, integrate, test, and launch Google Assistant features on devices to create a seamless interaction experience.
