    In this role you will join the New Shopping Home team, working to reinvent how people use Google products in their shopping experiences: from finding the best price and discovering new merchants, to researching products and finding a perfect match, leveraging augmented reality, machine learning, computing, and generative AI.
    User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users' needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. Our UX teams include designers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on collaborative teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products' unique capabilities and personalities.     Responsibilities

    • Define the user experience and user interface for the new Google Shopping experience, on mobile and desktop platforms, with creativity and developing new approaches.
    • Collaborate with other designers on the team, UX Researchers, Product Managers, Program Managers, Engineers and other UX teams.
    • Produce designs, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes from concept to execution, and communicate design intent to both internal and external teams.
    • Communicate design outlook and justify decisions, and advocate for users needs.
    • Understand GenAI products, technologies, user motivations, and market opportunities in order to incorporate technical and business requirements into design.
