Vendor Manager, Vendor Management Organization, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 10 years of experience in management consulting, operations consulting, business development, or similar roles.

• Experience in operations, program and project management, global vendor operations management, shared services or global business services.

• Experience with sales Go-To-Market (GTM) in the information technology industry.

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or Master's degree or equivalent practical experiences.

• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or PMI (e.g., Green Belt or Black Belt).

• Ability to Influence, communicate, and drive change cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders at all levels of management.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, ambiguous environment with a strong track record for taking projects from conception to launch.

In this role, you will be responsible for all extended workforce needs across Google Cloud such as extended workforce strategy, vendor partner selection, governance, operations and performance management. You will partner with Cloud teams in support, learning, sales and engineering to set up new vendor engagements and improve existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business group assigned as their trusted vendor management business partner, understanding their business, translating needs into effective vendor solutions.
• Provide end-to-end support for extended workforce onboarding. Act as the primary point of contact for related administrative tasks and escalations from clients.
• Maintain weekly reports on budget, forecast and actual spend.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, creating high-performing Vendor teams and conducting root cause analysis on issues that emerge.
• Work with cross-functional teams to execute Vendor Management Organizations strategic roadmap.
