    About the job

As the Vice President, Global Integrated Planning will set the strategy and direction for the demand signal aggregation, forecasting, material planning, labor planning, and optimization of delivery into Google’s worldwide Data Centers. You will be accountable for the optimization of inventory, reduction of supply chain lead-time and improved delivery of customer requirements.

The team will focus on translating Product and Customer requirements to a workable operational forecast that will ensure the appropriate signals are provided to ensure optimal delivery of materials, components, logistics, and ensure sufficiency of labor at the data centers. The team is also responsible for optimizing fulfillment and capacity provisioning while transforming our fleet.

The team will partner to create a more stable and predictable supply chain (e.g., Forecast Accuracy, IRA, OTD, Fill Rate, Customer Service performance, etc.). The organization serves the Data Center Operations and the broader Technical Infrastructure teams. The team will lead the improvement of the Fleet and Operation Planning Process (F&OP) which will create engagement, drive faster decision-making, and ensure the process is integrated across the organization.

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $550,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain the critical supply chain assumptions for the F&OP process and daily operations (e.g., cost variables, labor rates, inflation, updating throughput rates, capacity setting, etc.).

    • Develop a high level forecast of machines/racks/trays and networking needs at the yawn site level which includes all data center work stripes.

    • Lead the supply planning of components and materials needed for machine deployment, overseeing supply availability, safety stock management, and ensuring inventory is in line with budget.

    • Build a robust F&OP (monthly) and F&OE (weekly) Operations/Execution reviews that will enable risk awareness across the organization and create actions to remove and mitigate the constraints.
