As an Account Relationship Manager, you'll participate in a 4-week paid training program, where you will learn essential selling skills, designed to set you up for success. Upon completion of our training program, you may begin our hybrid work schedule, permitting two remote workdays per week, and you will begin reporting to a District Sales Manager. You will be presented with your own book of business and will be the primary liaison between Grainger and Government customer accounts located throughout the United States. You will implement the sales process by expanding customer relationships, probing to uncover needs and buying motives, identifying solutions, and looking for ways to add value resulting in profitable sales volume growth and increased share of wallet. Account portfolios are expected to exceed established sales goals within an assigned territory.
You Will:
Identify sales opportunities, negotiate to secure business, and sell the value of Grainger.
Develop strategic account plans.
Manage appropriate investments of time and resources.
Review, understand and apply complex information.
Understand complex customers with multiple decision makers and partners.
Identify new contacts, develop customer relationships across all departments.
Communicate our pricing offers, programs and broad offering of products and services.
Grow market share and achieve financial plans.
You Have:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent
3+ years of sales and business or similar work experience
Negotiation knowledge
Mindset that expresses growth
Pay & Commission:
Hourly rate based on experience, Guaranteed Incentive Earnings program the first three months of employment, and uncapped commission pay structure.
Commissions are uncapped; total earnings may be higher or lower due to performance-based commission structure. Commission plans are subject to change.
