    Lead Engineer, Industrial

    JOB DUTIES:            

    Lead Engineer, Industrial for GXO Logistics Corporate Services, Inc. at its facilities in High Point, North Carolina. Lead solution teams from multiple support organizations to design and configure cost-effective solutions for current customers or potential clients. You will be responsible for documenting the requirements, pain points we are solving for, and participate in defining the value proposition. Leading all aspects of the project as relates to the final data-driven and cost-effective solution. Lead collaborative workshops with support partners - Operations, Technology, Facilities, Security, Human Resources, Health, Safety, Environment, Social Governance, Transportation, Account Management, Proposals, Presentation, Real Estate, Risk Management, Quality, Trade Compliance, Security, Legal, Finance, and Implementation. Lead designated team in the end-to-end solution process from receipt of RFP until submission date. Document requirements, Stakeholder reviews to understand pain points, analyze data, participate in Solution Development meetings, design and configure, define assumptions/ process/ efficiencies, enter all inputs into a pricing model, and obtain the necessary approvals. Lead designated team in providing all material for the proposal and/or presentation including Solution approach, comparison analysis, data tables and charts, AutoCad layouts, process flows, and shikumi's. Meet with internal ELT and/or current customer (or potential clients), to review the solution specifics and answering any questions. This position is open to telecommuting from anywhere in the United States. Travel required to company warehouses, Client meetings/warehouses and solution presentations, Frequency: 25%. U.S. Domestic travel only.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field.

    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    Experience must include four (4) years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience in the following:

    • Perform stakeholder analyses (understand gaps, requirements, and time objectives);
    • Leading engineering and analysis project team members;
    • Design and configure supply chain solutions for current customers or potential clients;
    • Developing and defining key assumptions - business process flows, Shikumi, layouts, and diagrams utilizing Microsoft excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and AutoCAD; and
    • Leading stakeholder, current customers, potential client, and customer reviews, workshops, and implementation planning.
