Passionate about children's literature and familiarity with current children's non-fiction
Curious about how children learn and excited to support them on their educational journeys
Possess a great attitude and a desire to learn as well as excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Able to work collaboratively with a team and contribute insights
Able to receive, distill, and apply feedback
Resourceful and able to balance multiple responsibilities and work independently
Must be results driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Recent experience spending time with children in any capacity: camp counselor, babysitter, student teacher/tutor, etc. (not a requirement)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
Tasks you'll perform:
Research industry trends and movements in the educational market with goal of creating resource databases and documents for the editorial team
Perform analysis of competitive titles
Review, edit, and write curriculum-based activities for early learners
Assist with mailings and events as requested
General administrative duties
Assistant with a specific project with Spanish-language content and to help is brainstorm future Spanish-language products
