Our Specialty Property & Casualty/Marine business verticals are looking for a sales-minded, strategic & collaborative Regional Distribution Director to drive new business development for Specialty Property & Casualty/Marine business in the Metro region, comprised of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
This role will be 100% remote, but the individual must be based in New Jersey or Pennsylvania.

Position Overview: The Regional Distribution Director is the distribution leader of the Specialty Property & Casualty business and a key influencer for our Marine department in their given territory. The incumbent is responsible for collaborative development and implementation of strategic direction, production goals and operational objectives for distribution sources and field network partners. Drive the development of new business opportunities and partnerships within the business segment, field teams, and with our Agent Partners.
THIS IS A FULL-TIME, EXEMPT ROLE.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Identify new business development opportunities, deepen relevancy with Target Agents, and expand distribution through Specialty focused agents to achieve target specialty returns.
Collaborate closely with Regional Vice Presidents to own and develop the distribution strategies for assigned region.
Segment existing agents and field territories, and allocate resources accordingly, with specific focus on target agent partners.
Establishes agent and local office development plans, monitor results and take appropriate action.
Develop production goals for existing target agents and may assist local office leadership in negotiating production commitments.
Organizes sales meetings, sales contests and incentive programs to stimulate growth.
May identify training needs of agents, local office staff, and help develop and implement appropriate training programs.
Assemble competitive data and intelligence and provide feedback to business unit leaders and appropriate underwriting partners to address product and pricing needs.
Analyzes management reports and takes appropriate action to assure production momentum and profitability.
Design and implement strategic regional and branch specific marketing and operational plans including participation in general business pricing strategy decisions.
Works in conjunction with local office leadership to develop and manage a stable of target agents in each territory ensuring that the relationship and yield from each target agent remains productive.
Interface with Regional President and Regional Vice President and other business unit leaders on territory and cross-business issues along with maintaining regular contact with all target agent partners and field leadership.
