Develop global market strategy based on in-depth understanding of the General Industry market
Fully understand industry evolution trends and customer needs, map out market opportunities and define action plans together with the teams
Identify untapped areas and adjacent markets
Own the market model and market understanding
Make strategic recommendations, propose M&A ideas to enter new markets
Closely monitor competitive situation and form counter strategy
Ensure strategy execution via closely collaborating with sales teams and innovation teams
Propose resource allocation to ensure innovation efforts in line with business strategy; oversee segment innovation pipeline and prioritize projects based on market strategy
Gate keeper of innovation projects, assess business value and strategic fit, ensure alignment with strategic focus
Work closely with key project teams to drive deliverable results
Create value propositions/business concepts to monetize business ideas and technical know-how
Own and steer both organic and inorganic global market strategy
Continuously improve strategic steering to achieve business financial goals and its full potential
Lead special topics/ projects that have long-term impact to the business
The position can be located in Düsseldorf (Germany) or Madison Heights (USA)
Successfully completed university degree in Strategy, Business and/or Technical field
At least 7-8 years of professional experience within marketing, commercial or strategy B2B functions
Outstanding leadership skills, preferably with international working experience
Strong customer and strategic mindset with clearly structured approach
Strong communication skills, comfortable of presenting complex topics to senior leaders
Fluent English language skills, German would be a plus
