YOUR ROLE
- Management of planning, scheduling and procurement of materials to support daily plant operations
- Develop stocking levels to achieve high service while balancing inventory targets
- Develop actions to disposition and prevent slow moving inventory
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and develop root cause analysis
- Daily communication with Production and Customer Service on changing demands and proactive alerts on material delays
- Mitigate risk to supply and service with strategic buffering while concurrently working to drive improvements through the entire value stream
- Cross-functionally trained to provide support across the department
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Admin preferred
- 2+ years related experience
- Experience using an ERP system; SAP experience a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy
- Able to develop and maintain strong cooperative working relationships within the group and across the organization
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- APICS certification a plus
