    The Clinician’s Choice Restorative Specialist Sales Manager is responsible for achieving gross profit and sales targets for their geographical area, building market share, and strengthening the Clinician’s Choice brand name in the marketplace.  Daily work encompasses delivering the Clinician’s Choice value proposition to customers to gain orders of Company products across segments including (but not limited to): Dental offices, laboratories, Government facilities, institutions, and other key customer segments. 

    Accountabilities:

    • Achieve Gross Profit Target for Territory through sales achievement
    • Present, promote and sell products using Clinician’s Choice value proposition to existing and prospective customers.
    • Develop, support and drive sales growth with channel partners.
    • Drive continuing education (CE) participation through online and in-person events.
    • Initiate and establish strong relationships with regional thought leaders and key influencers.
    • Work alongside regional study groups and associations to drive CE engagement.
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
    • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
    • Utilize CRM system to manage sales funnel
    • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
    • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments and participate in regional and required tradeshows and events.
    • Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

    Sales Generation - Plan, develop and execute strategies to increase sales and company market share by exploring methods to expand the customer base in your Territory, cultivate new sales and marketing opportunities and grow current and new customer sales bases.

    • Manage Territory by developing strong relationships with customers. You will stratify your customer base into types of customers (MVP, A, B, C, D) and use our NAV system to assist in documenting discussions, scheduling office visits, and organizing your activities.
    • Recommend, execute, and monitor sales and strategies to increase market penetration.
    • Coordinate implementation of business plan with Manager.
    • Manage the attainment of sales objectives and goals within your Territory.
    • Analyze and recommend sales promotion ideas, sampling requirements, promotion activities and other required tools and support needed (within reasonable budgets).

    Detailed activities - Pro-actively participate in functions that are deemed important for you in developing your Territory including (but not limited to):

    • Attend trade shows, lectures, seminars, and hands-on courses both within your territory and outside as required by the Company.
    • Make regular office visits to all customers (expectation is 10-12 per day depending upon type of call, geographic area being covered, purpose of visit, etc.)
    • Provide detailed reports to Manager documenting daily activities.
    • Assist in getting registrants for courses in your area and have direct input into the number, type and scope of courses offered.
    • Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and Module (lunch and learn) sessions for offices and study groups as appropriate.
    • Technical troubleshooting and dealing with customer issues.
    • Monitor sales returns to isolate problem areas with the goal to reduce returns and the related costs within your Territory.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and work closely with an internal MAR who will team with you to assist in this regard.

    Training and Product Knowledge – Ongoing training is critical to your success and as you will be remote, it is imperative you take personal responsible for this including:

    • Active and ongoing participation in product, technique and sales training.
    • Ongoing research of competitor products and the differences and critical selling features compared to our products.
    • Continuous dental education training. We recommend you identify a few Doctors you can use as a resource in this regard in your local market.

    Corporate Issues - Participate constructively as a member of the sales team fostering goal achievement, team building, communication and joint problem solving.

    • Regular communication with your Manager and other members of the sales team to ensure sharing of Best Practices.
    • Continuously review Territory performance and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Consistently follow and work within the guidelines of our Corporate Values.

    ISO Procedural Knowledge

    • Applicable job-related ISO Procedures as outlined in the ISO training matrix. All ISO training is maintained and administered by the ISO Management Representative

    Qualifications:

    • Post-secondary education in business or equivalent experience combined with 5 years of proven sales success.
    • Business to Business sales experience, preferably in the dental industry.
    • Proven ability to manage a large region and be a trusted partner with channel partners.
    • Able to self-motivate and work effectively in an independent environment.
    • A record of innovation and a continuous/process improvement attitude.
    • Strong consensus building skills: Leads and supports change; takes appropriate chances.
    • Achieves business results, by acting, achieving quality and focusing on the future.
    • Demonstrates integrity and ethics; sets a personal example.
    • Services customers by meeting their needs and focusing on customer satisfaction.
    • Builds and develops partnerships through open lines of communication, values diversity.
    • Professional dental sales knowledge and experience preferred.
    • The ability to work well and build co-operative relationships with people at all levels.
    • Strong computer skills and ability to use technology to Company advantage.
    • Travel typically required. No special physical demands required.
    • Job demands may require long periods of driving.
    • Job demands may require occasional heavy lifting, up to 15 to 20 pounds
