Supports and participates in market communications: seminars, conference events, publications.
Supports Sales in Capture Team activities and is generally part of Capture Team

Your background
Master of Electrical Engineering (preferably in Power Systems)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in tender/project work within FACTS for transmission applications
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Experience from building and maintaining relationships with customers for both series- and shunt compensation technology.
Customer focus and ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry.
Extensive experience from FACTS projects including system design, calculations, analysis and simulations.
Experience from new converter technology based on multilevel voltage source converters (VSC)
Knowledge of related engineering tools and software required to accomplish assigned tasks (PSSE, PSCAD/EMTDC, RTDS, among others)
Knowledge of MACH® systems and experience from testing of control system performance in RTDS
Experience from commissioning and testing on site.
Experience from routine and type testing of main components
Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets.
Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects/bids while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities.
Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Availability to travel within US, Canada, Mexico and outside NAM; up to 40-50% travel.
